John & Dawn Field Jewellery

We are John & Dawn Field, based in Yorkshire. We have been successfully exhibiting and selling our jewellery in prestigious craft centres and art galleries nationwide since graduating and have participated in over 80 Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions. Over the years we have developed a number of ranges of jewellery, collaborating both together and individually.

We have a shared passion for making things and being creative. We are perhaps most recognised for our Asymmetrical range, where stencils, which we have designed, are rolled into silver. Instead of making matching pairs, one earring will feature a gemstone cabochon and the other will have some brass decoration. Technology and CAD also contribute to the design and creation of some of our jewellery pieces.

An exciting new venture for us is our Pebble range, which draws inspiration from nature, organic shapes, and our fondness for Cornish beaches. The promotional images for this collection were taken at Harlyn Bay. The “pebbles” are formed from a blend of glass powder and synthetic polymer, designed to resemble hollowed pebbles that are finished with liquid gold recesses. The materials are lightweight yet durable, making them perfect for jewellery wear. These natural forms, as well as having a luxurious quality, possess a delightful
tactile feel.
