Where can I park?

Parking can be a little tricky in the town centre so it is advisable to use one of four car parks which are all within walking distance of the harbour; the nearest to the harbour is the Harbour Car Park, at the bottom of Station Road there is Railway Car Park, the Lawns Car Park is opposite the Old School on School Hill and finally up the hill by the Fire Station there is Link Road Car Park.

Alternatively during peak season there a park and ride operating at the entrance to Padstow just before Tesco on A389.

Accessibility

Everyone is welcome, however there are two steep steps into the gallery and a narrow doorway, there is also a flight of stairs within the building which leads to the first floor. As much as we would love to make improvements to the access, it is a Grade II listed building and we are bound by those restrictions. We will endeavour to help where we can.

Do I need to register to place an order?

It is not necessary to register to place an order however it does help us to keep you informed about your order status and tracking details.

Will purchased artworks be delivered framed or unframed?

Artworks will vary according to their product description so please read these carefully. If in doubt please phone us and we will be happy to help. Whilst we do not offer a bespoke framing service, we are happy to recommend a number of local framers.

Can I commission an artwork from one of the artists?

Of course! Most of our artists are more than happy to create custom artwork or jewellery for you. Our prices are standardised and we do not charge anything extra for completing a commission, however we do insist on a 20% deposit at the point of order to help towards the initial materials and these items are exempt from our refund policy (see more).

Lead times can vary between 2-8 weeks but we can advise an estimation before placing an order, just keep this in mind if you want to commission an item for a special occasion and allow a little bit extra time just in case. Delivery is arranged and priced separately.

Will I see the work I commission in progress?

Absolutely! You will be kept informed of progress from initial design sketches through to the finished piece. We want you to be part of the journey and to be happy with the results.

How long will it take for my delivery to arrive?

Most deliveries arrive within 2-3 working days, however if you need a faster service or a specific delivery date then please contact the gallery directly and we will endeavour to help.

Larger pieces or particularly fragile items may require a specialist courier service and can be subject to delivery route availability.

How do I exhibit through Padstow Gallery if I am an artist?

We are currently full, and are not taking new submissions until Spring 2019.

For the future... we advise that you visit the gallery, browse the website and stalk us on social media to make sure that we are the right gallery for you and that your work fits alongside the wonderful collections that we already represent.

Our focus is ‘where the land meets the sky’ and the exploration of ‘boundaries’ and ‘edges’, as such our collections lean towards being semi-abstract, loose, highly textured, and influenced by the natural flora and fauna of the British landscape and coastline.

Copyright of images/footage both online and instore

We want you to enjoy your visit to the website and the gallery, as such we allow quick snaps of our collections and displays to be taken for your own personal, non-commercial research and private study purposes. However, if you wish to use this material in any other way, you must seek separate permission in writing from us and also the individual artist.
