'Connexion' exhibition sets out to celebrate the relationship of light and landscape, through showcasing the seven bays of Padstow; local bays of rocky shore, sandy expanse and cliff, each with its own character and feel.

Meet artist, Alex Yarlett - a contemporary abstract/expressive mixed media artist, who travels up and down the Cornish Coast in search of the best spots to sketch and paint.

Karen Birchwood, painter, and Kate Schuricht, ceramicist, met whilst exhibiting as members of the Rye Society of Artists. Here, they discovered their mutual love of seascapes and rural landscapes and a deep appreciation for each other’s work. Capturing these landscape scenes on both canvas and in clay, both artists respond to a strong sense of place and the idea of a moment caught in time.
