I am excited to share with you the product of numerous years of experience, connections and some luck in there too.
Being based in Cornwall has certainly influenced the style of the gallery which focuses around the concept of 'edges' and 'boundaries' - where land meets sky – a celebration of the flora and fauna of our countryside, and ruggedness of our natural coastline.
Many of you will have met me before, and will already know that I am passionate about stocking superior quality original works from professional artists.
I love what I do, the people I meet, the artists that I represent, and I hope that that enthusiasm shows in every interaction.
In addition to showcasing stunning collections by inspired makers and creators, we believe passionately in a sustainable future and looking after the environment for generations to come. As a company we reuse and recycle as much as possible to minimise our commercial waste, we also use LED lights in store to reduce our carbon footprint and you won’t find a plastic microbead in sight (say ‘no’ to glitter!).
Cornwall is blessed with a stunning shoreline, and we’d like to do our bit to keep it that way for us all to enjoy. Sally and I both live on the North coast and we regularly participate in #2minutebeachclean, you can see our finds on Instagram. For more information about how to get involved, or even organise your own beach clean please visit The Beach Clean Network Limited [https://beachclean.net/about].
We are also 100% positive that the world would be a better place if everyone spent 15 minutes a day being part of your own creative journey, whether that is being absorbed by your favourite painting or having a go at art and craft yourself. Be part of it.
We wish to invite you to be part of our journey and you can follow our meanderings via our Blog, or get in touch with us at info@padstowgallery.co.uk
