The source of inspiration for Louisa's work stems from museum collections of 18th-century dining vessels; a fascination of the rituals of dining and the role of tableware in contemporary dining. Each piece is made from porcelain and thrown on the potter's wheel, Louisa creates components that are cut, freely assembled and finish by hand, using a subtle colour palette of the range is directly influenced by hand painted decoration on historical tureens and grand vessels...
